What you'll do

  • Own and manage IT operations, systems and budgets
  • Provide leadership, guidance and training to IT teams responsible for web/cloud applications and company help desk
  • Ensure IT projects are well managed and delivered successfully by managing scope and commitments
  • Develop IT strategy as it relates to the organization’s IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems, data systems, cloud services)
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies which may be implemented in the IT strategy
  • Collaborate with senior-level stakeholders across the entire organization to identify and fulfill business and technology needs and opportunities
  • Implement and improve automated processes to monitor systems performance in both co-located and cloud locations
  • Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
  • Builds and maintains relationships with outside vendors

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 8 years of hands on experience in IT operations, IT project management, with a minimum of 3 years supervising technology teams, and leading information technology projects
  • Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and telecommunications systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization, in French and English
  • Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles
  • Solid working knowledge of all relevant coding languages and security protocols
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience in software development (coding and security protocols)
  • Experience in managing complex AWS applications (an asset)
